Raw (not encased) Comic Books:

Any grades provided are based on educated estimates and are not guarantees of what third party professional grading companies would assign. Unless the interior of the book is not consistent with the age and condition of the exterior we will not specifically describe any interior condition issues. However; we will mention if the centerfold is detached, the book has missing pages, or there are significant tears relative to the overall condition of the book. These latter items are not common and therefore most books will not have interior condition descriptions.

Encased Comic Books (CGC, CBCS, PGX):

Encased comic books sometimes have what are known as Newton rings. These are caused by the contact of plastic on plastic within the graded cases. They appear as “rainbows” of color and sometimes look like oily patches. These are not common but do occur and are not considered damaged copies.
